PALS
(Parent Activity Leaders in our School)
At The Montessori School, we feel that having a sense of community is important for our children and their families. Children need the opportunity to practice their social skills in diverse settings, to learn acceptable behavior, and to feel comfortable with different life experiences. Parents benefit from getting together with other parents by sharing experiences, by having a network of grown-ups to communicate with, and by using each other as a resource for activities, services, and help.
Our PALS group exists:
- To promote the building of a community so each member of our school - parent and child - feels welcome and comfortable
- To provide opportunities for gathering together and enjoying experiences outside of school
- To offer opportunities to our families that they might not otherwise have and - possibly - at a discounted price
Be A Parent Volunteer
Our school relies on parent volunteers to be able to offer enrichments to our program. It is hoped that, if and when your time allows, you will want to become involved in your child's school. Listed below are the positions that currently enhance your child's and family's school experience.
